Peter's unofficial XBOT branding

This repository is a collection of XBOT's branding materials, in an effort to move towards more standard and consistent branding across XBOT Robotics and the teams it operates. Peter Briggs thinks XBOT should have a canonical reference for XBOT's brand, and this is his work-in-progress attempt. Currently, nothing here is necessarily authorized, canonical, official, or approved.

Structure

• Evergreen branding materials are located in the /brand/ directory of this repository. Logos, wordmarks, etc.—anything that's generically XBOT and used anywhere/everywhere.
  • (Inside that directory is sources/. These are old logos, design notes, unofficial logos worth keeping for reference, etc. which generally shouldn't be used for anything).
• Designs that we produce for one-off events or for specific uses (flyers, team T-shirts, robot mechanism posters, etc.) are saved in /projects/ directory. These are valuable for 2 reasons:
  • If we need to produce more copies (e.g. print more flyers, T-shirts)
  • When we're creating similar designs in the future, for reference (we've made some really good posters over the years that could be modified to new content rather than starting over from scratch).
